Covid -19 protocols

The safety of our brides and our stylists is our number one priority. With this in mind, we have established protocols and procedures in accordance with the regional guidelines provided by the provincial government to keep everyone safe while shopping after COVID-19.

Mandatory Boutique Guidelines

What you need to know

Masks and Face Coverings

All guests are required to wear a mask or face covering that should cover your nose, mouth and chin without gaping.

If someone does not have a mask then masks are available to purchase.

  • Please wear your mask properly covering your nose and chin.
  • We will end the appointment early should a guest not follow these rules. We're trying to keep everyone safe.

Can I wear a face shield instead of a mask or face covering during the COVID-19 pandemic in your store?

No. Face shields do not replace masks or face coverings.

A face shield is used to protect the eyes of the person wearing it. Using a face shield without a mask won't protect:

• you from potentially inhaling infectious respiratory droplets exhaled by others
• others from your infectious respiratory droplets, as they can escape around the face shield

Children and Guests

Each group is allowed a maximum of 4 people PER GROUP.

There are no children permitted at the appointments at this time, we want to keep your little ones safe.

Please contact the store if you have questions or requests.

Disinfecting and Physical Contact With The Dresses

All high-contact surfaces are frequently disinfected to ensure customer and staff safety.

This includes consistent disinfection of:

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided, we will be asking you to sanitize your hands when you arrive in store.
  • Dresses will be steam cleaned after each try-on
  • Surfaces will be disinfected after each appointment
  • Gloves will be required to look through the dress racks, should we be out of gloves at your appointment hands must be sanitized before browsing the collection
  • You will be allowed to browse dresses with your consultant, without touching the hangers. Only the consultant will be allowed to pull the dresses off the rack. We kindly ask your guests to remain seated in their designated area and not be roaming around the shop while the stylist is pulling gowns for you.

Winter Footwear

All staff members are required to wear indoor shoes or slippers to help protect the trains on the gowns.

  • To keep the boutique clean we will continue to ask all guests to remove their shoes upon entering, but we will no longer have slippers available so please feel free to bring your own slippers, socks or clean indoor shoes

Our suggestions on the type of undergarments you should wear when trying on wedding gowns:

BRAS: Some dresses are so structured that you can skip the bra altogether, especially if you are a smaller cup size. However, this won’t work for all of us. For those who need something more, a good strapless bra is a must. Think of it as part of the cost of your wedding gown.

UNDERWEAR: When you go to your bridal appointment, you’ll have a bridal consultant helping you in and out of your various dresses. Don't worry, the stylists aren't shy as they've seen it all. You want to wear something that won’t leave any visible panty lines underneath a slinky sheath dress, or show through the fabric of your dreamy romantic lace gown. So maybe skip the hot pinks and neons and opt for a neutral or what shade of undergarment.
